Who has shown the highest dedication to his research? A candidat for such a claim might be the famous philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre.

In 1935 he was writing a dissertation on imagination. For this purpose he had a doctor inject him the drug mescaline. The result was a drug psychosis which forced him to spend two weeks in psychiatry. That’s what I’d call scientific curiosity!
